They could buy a new house purely on the interest earned, if you consider the amount of time it takes to buy and sell a house (not that they'd need to sell, they could give it away if its a decent house). It's pretty fascinating thinking about what they could buy without really digging into the amount of money they've won. A Porsche Boxster (I think?) could be on their drive in 10 days and that could be bought on interest (£85,000 (interest) x 10 (days)). Hopefully they'll be sensible, but then again it's their money

I saw this last night, or a story very similar about a pensioner who thought she may of had the ticket. You never know, it might be her and they somehow fond the ticket which the husband lost
