Anyway a bit off topic, someone I know is engaged. She's 15. They're waiting till after college for marriage. I think that's pretty cool tbh.

honestly for some people that's a long time ;P
I'd prefer to know them for at LEAST 6 months before getting engaged, however if I really cared about someone for a shorter time than that, then whatever I guess? ;P

my theory is, if you know someone for between 6 months to a year and a half-ish, there's still some mystery, and mystery can usually be fun I personally like learning new things so that would be good for me. However you could know someone your entire life or for many many years and still not know everything so it depends really I think I could be happy with someone I've known for a very long time too

I don't know how that will last, I guess the 3 or so years they will wait anyway is gonna give them a taster of their commitment. In all fairness she is quite smart so she might know.
