    Tuition fees for University in America are a lot. You also need to think of things such as living, health and transport, so it would be best to save every penny!

    If you're living on residence over here anyway you likely wont even need to have a car. I know atleast where the Universities are where I live, there are atleast ten assorted stores tailored to satisfy the needs of nearby students. Very convenient.

    i had to pay $1200 just to park my car on campus. i gave up my residence room and they said i couldn't switch parking. FML.
    I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

    As much as you'll love the freedom of driving, I'd honestly wait for a year. It's quite a lot cheaper over there and you can't use a UK driving licence in the USA, although I believe you *may* be able to use it temporarily while you sort out your own licence.

    You will get one and then only have it for a year, so it would be wasteful in my opinion

    you'll also have the whole ordeal of selling the car before you move, cancelling insurance etc.
