    i never said cant access, i said cant connect, as in i click on it and it says "windows cannot connect to this network" but nvm i had a play round with some of the settings and ive done it now, thanks for replies everyoneeeeeee

    Your problems could point to different ways:

    - Multiple local IP-addresses is connected (2 computers with same local IP)
    - Bad channel (happend for me. I can login to my routers frontpage and set a channel - some channels are better than others)

    These are just two of many problems, but can you give more information about your router? What kind (with Model number).
