Perhaps all this aggrevation is a sign that something needs to be done? The people who seem to be protesting seem to have an interest in the Help Desk, perhaps you could ask them privately what they think should change? Afterall, making up rules as you go along isn't going to help in the long run, and it seems these malicious actions are getting worse and worse.
