This is on my list of 1001 things to do before I die. I did this very recently, its an experience where you yourself need to be the judge. You kind of need to have a positive approach to it as it can make you feel a bit anxious over what others may think of you. However it is a great movie experience in my opinion it's just you and the film.

No questions about the plot or characters, no requests for the popcorn, no unnecessary cuddling because the cinema is cold, no arguments over what film to see. It is just nice for once for it to be just about you and the cinema.

I'd quite like the cuddling bit!

But yeah, I think it's fine to go to a cinema on your own, I guess in some ways it's better because you get to enjoy the film more and focus more on it, but on the other hand I think it could also be a bit lonely.

Still, when you have no friends/can't find a random person off the street to take with you it's the only option sometimes! Will probs go sometime next week to watch harreh potter

I don't really see a problem with someone going to the cinema on their own.

Except when I went to see Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and there were 2 separate old men watching it on their own...

this.. i dont know if its just me, but i go to the cinema quite alot with friends, then we'll go and get some food or a drink afterwards and talk about it, it would just seem weird if i went by myself

I have never gone to the cinema on my own yet, but i probably will in the future.

At least for the experience if nothing else.
Bonjour, la noirceur, mon vieil ami
    Je suis venu te reparler
    Car une vision piétinante doucement
A laissé ses graines lorsque je dormais
    Et la vision
Qui était plantée dans mon cerveau
    Demeure toujours
    Parmi le son du silence
