I am waiting to buy anything so if somebody has already done so perhaps they could check to see if they are? The only other way would be to see if when you buy you can 'buy as a gift'.

Some one has said they got something and it was un-tradeable ... so looks like clones will be no good

I agree because i bet a lot of people would have just done the quests on clones and just made loads of rooms with the different furni in.
