Christmas Eve largely consists getting delivery's out in the morning for the family business, then finishing for about 4pm. As tradition, my family has ALWAYS gone to my Great-Grandad's house where he'd put a nice spread on each year, but since he passed away a few years ago, my great-Auntie and Uncle have taken it over![]()
Go out and get warmly smashed with a few friends then stumble back around 2 or 3 giving loud season's greetings to anyone we pass, usually to be reciprocated in a similarly festive manner
i do what i'd do on any other night
then help my mum sort the presents into whos is whos then watch tv a bit more then go bed whenever
cake
i wake up i shower i get dressed i attend some family event then at 6 we watch santa claus on the news n then i go to the pub with friends n then come home n peek at my presents then go bed
We go to a church service in the morning, then do normal things. Then when night falls, go look around town at the lights. then when we come home and open presents, then go to bed like normal
Well if i'm honest, work introduce a christmas rota and always make me work christmas eve! sympathy please![]()
NEVER dis Polar Express again. It's my favourite film and I have a obsession with it. ^_^Christmas Eve...well if we're at home we'll watch a film (more often than not "The Polar Express"...the amount of times I've wanted to snap that disc...lol) and then my dad will go on the computer on some website that supposedly "tracks" Santa and where he is...and updates every few minutes. Then my mum makes me go to bed when he's in central Europe >;l
Anyway, I spend xmas eve just watching xmas films and getting ready for the next day. I normally go to bed fairly early on xmas eve though because other wise I'll be too tired for xmas.

I've left, but I still visit sometimes!
We normally tidy the house and make sure everything is prepared for Christmas and all of that stuff. Then we sit down and have beans on toast and then we shoot off for about 6 hours visiting family and dropping of presents then we come home and watch some kind of film.
