You hear that your friend is doing a giveaway. You rock up to that room and see immediately that your friend's account is hacked.

Now at this point would a true friend:

    a) Report that account stolen
    or
    b) Ask the hacker for some of the items on that account

You chose b).... our survey says.... NU UH

In the real world, receipt of stolen goods is also a crime. I hope this thread stands as a lesson to:

    a) Not try and pull the wool over my eyes; and
    b) Not tell porkie pies to a fansite community because you may well get busted and then perhaps people won't be quite so happy to be your friend.

    Merry Christmas!

I never mentioned he was a true friend, I didn't even like the kid, he was just on my friends list at the time,
I don't have true friends on habbo lol.
But yeah, what's done is done, hopefully people won't make the same mistake I did.

haha. u minus well start over. you got caught. you knew it was a hacked account. By him giving the stuff to people and you accepting, after knowing it was stolen, is a form of hacking. For all they know, you could of been the hacker and had a side account. I know this stinks, but start from scratch and learn from mistakes.

little did I know he'd been hacked by another of my 'friends', so by accepting the furni, I've taken part in the illicit activity.
Habbo won't perm everyone that took furniture for a giveaway, that's like getting arrested for easting in a resturant when they have rats.

It's not a form of hacking...
But possession of stolen goods is illegal, so habbo have incorporated it into their game, so fair play to them I guess.
I won't be starting again, the amount of times I've done that is ridiculous now, and I'm 17, just entered a new year, so perhaps this is the kick in the butt I needed to quit this game.

They will if the person knew it was hacked furniture,
and your analogy has absolutely nothing to do with habbo or hacking...
