LOL tom earlier today i was looking near the front and this woman was talking to this 'model' who welcomed people as they came in and she was like listing all the problems in the sohp like the temprature, the darkness, the dust and she kept going on. But apparently they can't change anything in the shop at all

@paul - well thats just you but I like feeling good when I wear clothes and if that means wearing something thats branded then so be it. I do wear other clothes like primark, H&M etc but I think a few hollister and 'designer' clothes are fine. As Tom said the quality and feel of Hollister clothes are very good and people wouldnt buy them if they werent happy with what they are buying

Haha the greeters there are so OTT because there's such competition for their jobs, even when I eventually found my way out of the caves shop the guy at the door was like THANKS FOR VISITING HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS MANN I'm like get out the way you're not my friend

I hate the false American **** like that. My cousin is 11 and is into the whole 'Hollister' thing now and the other day had like £200 Christmas money and came out with about 6 things with barely any change. I could understand it a little more if it was more of an exclusive store but when you literally see more people wearing Hollister than Primark it does make me think what the hell are we being brain washed into .

I personally wear brands because I like the stuff they sell; I wouldn't buy a Fred Perry polo if it was ugly.

Some of the stuff they sell are nice so I don't mind them.

I've never bought anything from Hollister and have never really thought about buying anything from there.

Some of the stuff is nice but I only really go in there cause it smells so good I hate how dark it is though. I went with my friend once because she wanted to get her boyfriend a top and when she got out it was like dark green and she thought it was blue.

I love the Hollister shops (and workers ), and the perfume they have - it's £40 a bottle though for what is essentially smelly water. But clothes-wise? i'm not really much of a fan and i've never bought anything from there myself. I mean a few things are alright, but they dont merit the price.

I think it's the brand and to be honest it's different mentally for some. I feel so much better and happier wearing a Lyle and Scott or Lacoste polo than a plain one. If you think i've got mental issues then you obviously don't understand! No position to comment on what people spend their money on anyway. Feeling for the win!
