I'm not on about CHF, these accusations of stealing are from the actual tinyBB forums, there might be more accusations on CHF, I haven't looked.
Anywho, I've mentioned everything I know about it now, so I'll hush up about that.

TinyBB seems to be missing timestamps for posts, I haven't checked out the code yet so I don't know if they're stored in the database and just not being displayed, or if they're missing completely. I think timestamps for posts are a pretty important feature of a forum, so I suggest you add them in.
You could also try adding a better looking default theme to make it look more attractive to new users.
I won't make any more suggestions until I finally get around to looking at the code.

Get started on a version 2 that's isn't messy and let the community get involved in the creation of it and I might help out a bit

TinyBB has been working on recruiting developers for a version 2 of the script, we will be publicly recruiting developers when we have a developer site setup. Here users will be able to add new code, files ect and create a version 2.

It's not been decided on how we're going about recruiting publicly but it's being planned Right now we're sorting the bugs for our current version and improving it.

    Agreed.

AFAIK you don't even need to sha1 the MD5, one encryption method is enough... and wouldn't doing that cause the script to take AGES to execute?

    I would of said md5($salt + md5($_POST['password']) ) actually - salts are useful.

    ott.

    My choice:
    PHP Code:
    md5($pepper md5($_POST['password']) )
Since salt is bad for you.
