I really don't mind injections. I remeber in Year 9 (or 10) everyone was like "OMG BCG I AM SO SCARED" some people cried and others even fainted but I was just like YAWN. Didn't hurt at all. Had that Polio jab n'all, it was a walk in the park.

Meh, you barely feel them. There's no need to apprehensive about some little needle.

Seriously Mark, you're gonna kick yourself for posting this because it will be fine. I was SO worried for this injection because it was the first one I'd had since I was small, but seriously it's absolutely fine lol.

I remember being in the room and I was like ugh I hate injections.. will I be able to touch it after? Will I be able to shower?.. and the nurse was just like "It will feel something like this" and jabbed it in. Seriously I couldn't even feel it. It's fine lol. I really don't mind them so much now

It's weird really, when I was younger I used to have blood taken from me a couple of times a month however although wasnt scared.of needles at the time they actually terrify me now to the point where I kept missing my third hpv jab because the second one left me a dead arm for 2 weeks:

    youre year 10 then, yes?
anyway it doesnt hurt, i honestly didnt notice she done it and it was ultra quick aswell, however i suffered from some bleeding but it did clear quickly. I loled when someone fainted because of how pathetic the needles were and how pathetic any blood could have been.

I don't think they hurt that badly, it's a mind over matter thing. I used to be absolutely terrified of needles until they started becoming a regular occurrence for me. I've had well over one hundred injections over the last year (2010) either intravenously or just normally and I can't really feel the initial nip any more.

I've had the injection you're going for (I think) and I've had the flu jab. My guess is that they'll be very similar, a sharp scratch followed by some muscle cramp. This is natural.

    I'm surprised you didn't catch a disease!

ot: I really don't mind them they are actually not that bad I just think about other things whilst it's being done.
