As for sex before marriage, it's not wrong imo although if someone said they'd rather wait until after marriage, I wouldn't push them into it, I'd just start looking around the churches and things

Variety is the spice of life, so in essence, it's encouraged for you to spread your seeds across your world. I don't see anything wrong with it at all, a quickie or a quick fling is sometimes what is needed to take people out of depression and into something more. I won't take the Religious side at all because their accusations are based on a book written in gibberish about some guy in the sky who doesn't exist. If it was the law for us to get married to have sex, or we get sentenced to death or something, then the porn industry would be the strongest in the world.

I think these days, more so in britain that anywhere else, its a pretty common thing to have sex before marriage. Like most people i know have had sex already (sex before legal gasps) and there is this 1 girl in my class who has said she'll only do it when shes married and is saving that all for marriage. No one really went FREAK, but it is a bit weird in the sense that no one really thinks like that anymore (atleast round here).

& people do think like that in some places, just not britain...... i know it's different opinions and stuff but for me, i think sex should be private and not as publicised as it is. it's not right or wrong. marriage means nothing to most people anyway.

It depends what person your like and how you look at the matter really. I remember when a person came in to talk to our class he said he wasn't going to until he was married. He also spoke about his dedication and how he felt that it would be special to the person. The majority obviously don't think this way at this moment in time but I felt like I knew where he was coming from.

Personally I don't have a problem with it as long as it's in a relationship and you're stable.

I didn't mean it in the literal term, in the term that you sleep around. I've met people who've had a horrible month, gone out and had one-night stands and then just feel relieved to just get it all out.

Are you saying when you're born into a Catholic family that you'r automatically Catholic? That you take the exact religion and mindset of your parents, then later down the line your child absorbs your religion. Then your grand-children absorb it too? People should not be born into religion, as they are too young to make up their own mind about the rules of the world and where they stand on their beliefs. They need to mature and age and find their own place instead of just falling back into the arms of their mother/father. Yes, a lot of children rebel as they grow but the situation in America is mostly stagnant.
