Changed from previous due to new server plans.

Going to gather resources, start building a town from scratch and then put a mining shaft underneath one of the buildings. Last time I did this, I came out with 32 diamonds, 137 iron, 54 gold, stupid amounts of redstone & coal - along with 3 separate cave systems.

Just spent the last 2 hours trying to figure out how to build a moat to kill all mobs, failed completely and found out spiders can now escape most traps with there climbing ability FML

Downgraded to play SMP, found more caverns underneath the town, spent the last 2 hours in them. Hauled around 20 diamonds, 200 iron, 300 coal and a lousy 78 gold. Still more unexplored areas!

Also clearing a mountain for more building space!

You're telling me. In another mining shaft I hauled 16 opening up room to find ore/cave systems. A cluster of 8, cluster of 6 and then 4
Then an extra 10-15 with a few friends in the caves I uncovered.

1. Dig stairway to bedrock
2. Go back up 14-16 blocks.
3. Open up a huge room to uncover ores/caves.
4. ?????
5. Profit

I dug out A HUGE amount of area straight downwards under my forest (Tom's server) and then started branch mining. Didn't find a single thing until I hit into another person's branch mine so I abandoned that altogether.

The wool burnt down the first time I built it so I just /gave myself replacement wool took to long to get it all in the first place
