Why would that ruin a relationship surely I can do what I please to my own body? Plus he accepts me for who I am, he may not like it but he knows its up to me since its my body!

And meaning behind them? Well my wrist one is for my spanish family, my legs im getting matching tattoos to my mothers, not going to be like proper leg pieces, just one of the thigh and ankles

If your boyfriend doesn't like it why, do it? That's just my opinion. If my girlfriend was going to get a tattoo I didn't like I'd split with her, because I liked her for who she was, not who she wants to be.

Anyway, As I said, small ones (let's take Cheryl Cole's one for example) I don't mind, sometimes they can look pretty, but huge leg pieces, arm pieces etc. that you're posted & are in your sig are hideous. And I honestly think tattoos have no other meaning than attention seeking.

You can honour your family/show your respect/love whatever through different ways. You don't have to get a tattoo to show your dedication to your family. That's just ridiculous and a waste of money.

I didn't say i was king of deciding how to respect your family but I just think - in my opinion, it's rather pointless to get a tattoo, there are much easier, cheaper, and in my opinion - better ways to show respect/love towards your family.

*REMOVED* if your girlfriend wants to get a tattoo, and you aren't a fan of it, thats no reason to split up with her. shes allowed to do whatever she wants. id question the legitimacy of your relationship if your really prepared to dump her over a tattoo.

i think girls with tattoos are pretty hot, but i dont like fully covered girls like the suicide girls. but i live in the 21st century unlike this guy, so i have no problem with girls doing it if they want them

I personally choose girlfriends on whether I'm attracted to them, both sexually, and personality wise. If they do something that will turn me off, I'm not going to stay with them? Why should I be with someone I'm no longer attracted to?

It's the girls decision yes, and I have no problem with girls doing it if they want to, but if my girlfriend did it I'd split with her because I'd no longer be attracted to her...

Personally I'm not a fan of them, but I don't mind them having a bit of ink though .

I don't think sleeves and that are attractive on girls but I don't mind small, good looking tattoos.
