Well not fully true. A lot of people sadly still have crappy net connections in this day and age. Call me old fashioned, but while I don't mind watching stuff online, and use stuff like Sky Player, BBC iPlayer and so on regularly, I still do prefer buying physical stuff when it comes to DVDs, CDs etc.

I think it's just because I have something to show. As someone who actually produces films (doing a degree in film production), I like to collect. Sometimes its nice to just be able to wack a DVD into a DVD player and relax. Also sometimes with both CD's and DVDs, you can get really cool designs. I mean some of my Sigur Ross albums seem hand made on wood.
