Why would a free education be a bad reason to do something that you already love anyway? Confused here

I didn't say it was a bad reason, I think doing something because of free uni as a main reason is not right.

If it is for the love of the game, then fair enough.

I wanna do it because I love the sport and being able to play it in the USA would be amazing, and the free uni would just be a bonus.

Fair enough, good luck on it.

However if you wish to play in the US, lesson number one. Soccer. :L

    Try telling the Yanks that!

My sister wants to move to America and coach football in a school - due to girls football in America being so much bigger than it is in the UK/Spain.

Ok, i think it probably is real, however there is one near me that i know of and what you do is go to a trial in which people hire out an astro turf or a field for a day and then train you when you get into the team on the same field. They ask for money for the coaching costs, equipment etc and then you dont get any further. You basically pay a lot of money for football, and they talk about sending you to USA. After you pay £700-800 for the above stated, you then pay some more money as a deposit (bullcrap) and then they look for a college for you. Best thing for you to do is go to USA for 2 weeks, find a local soccer team and then try to get into it and then apply for a visa. Simple. Its too easy to tell a kid or a teenager, PLAY FOOTBALL IN THE USA AND LEARN AT THE SAME TIME FOR FREE. BULL! You will get to learn in England and then you will find it boring and play the exact same amount of football that you do if you play for a local minor squad. Dont fall into a trap. Goto your local football team's soccer schools (arsenal for me) and do well, or apply for different clubs centres of excellance or academies.
