Ireland have no chance now, it's quite a Eurovision-y song but I don't think many people will like them. Should be quite amusing to watch when Eurovision comes around though!

I highly doubt they'll even qualify for the final, let alone win. They're hopeless live and the UK can't vote in Semi Final 2. I quite like the song itself and the studio version, but it'd do better with the singer it was intended for: a talented female. The changing of the gender reference makes it seem awkward and I think "She's got her lipstick on, here she comes da-da-dum" would sound better. Also, the other song that's been chosen is miles better. In their semi-final they have Sweden, who could be sending a song written by none other than RedOne, Israel who could be sending their 1998 winner Dana International and Ukraine who have potentially the most annoying but amazing song in their national final. Despite this, it looks like the weaker semi-final.

This is the other song they are definitely competing against:

Here's a couple of other possibilities:
    Estonia (I HOPE!)

    Ukraine (I HOPE!)

Not until the final... If they get that far. The UK vote in the other semi-final .

    I quite like it tbh

That Ithaka Maria song is good but I don't quite get it - nearly all her other stuff is much more pop/club styled and more like Eurovision tunes, but this one is like half way between Shakira and Lordi

I can't believe we got those idiots representing us. Did anybody see their (very short) Tv series about their adventures living away from home? How can anybody have respect for them when they act like that on TV?????

I disagreed with Dustins entry and i disagree with this. These kind of entries are going to give us a bad name in the eurovision.
Bonjour, la noirceur, mon vieil ami
    Je suis venu te reparler
    Car une vision piétinante doucement
A laissé ses graines lorsque je dormais
    Et la vision
Qui était plantée dans mon cerveau
    Demeure toujours
    Parmi le son du silence
