Absolutely, I'm not surprised a lot of them get on edge tbh. Can't imagine anything more frustrating than no longer being able to do things for yourself that would previously have just been natural

For me it's just like any age group - some are great, some are annoying and/or abusive and for the main part they're just normal people

I know loads of elderly men and women who hate too much help. Like carrying shopping, they hate it when people start making a fuss when they're more than capable.

Anyway, some are okay, some are not. It's with any large group Some are right buggars when some are incredibly sweet, gentle and wise.

I love old people, some of them are so cute. When you see them eating in restaurants by themselves I feel so sorry for them! At my nan's old peoples home, some of them are really antisocial and bitter towards younger people.

I think a lot of mixed views will come up here! In my own personal opinion, I can get on with anyone, I love old people, I just think its great to talk to someone who has experienced different things to you, lived in a different era of society and I just think talking to someone older makes a change!

Others may say they don't like old people as much as I do, but I understand their point as we are different generations that are really miles apart!

I like to watch them fall, as I fall with them but I fall with laughter.

Some are absolutely adorable but I hate being stuck behind them when I'm in a rush to get somewhere.

Elderly people are just people who have lived longer than us..

I don't think many mean to be rude, or annoy. They just want to get on with their lives like any of us.

    ---

On the other hand, at Orient the other night when we got our equaliser against Arsenal some grumpy **** using a walking stick started shouting at me to move. I pointed out to him I could hardly move when there were over a thousand people in front of me, then he moaned again, I moaned at him.

    ******* *****

But I stand by what I say, the majority of elderly people do not mean to annoy and just want to get on with their lives.

    ---

Lol at whoever said I don't mind people who are sixty to seventy five. Sixty really isn't old :L
