    I'm sorry but no, being "slow" is because of the user, Dell put the hardware in the machine and ship it to you, you pick what hardware you want, your fault if it's slow. Cheap? Depends what you want/buy... and break down? Not had any problems, again why would so many people rely on their hardware if they "broke down" constantly? Just seems like trash talk to me.

    Lets keep this to the other thread, don't wanna spam up Chippie's.

    i'm browsing the internet, watching a simple 2 minute youtube video and computer is slow as hell? + very hot

    dells are rubbish, can't wait to get my air next week

    Good luck with that, Flash runs like **** on Macs, it'll be just as "slow" and hot.

    Oh also, if you tear apart a Mac I think you'll find they use the same core hardware as Dell, who use the same core hardware as everyone else. Funilly enough, so if it's slow, it's your fault.

    its my fault if its slow? i have nothing but msn installed on this..

    We've got 3 Dell Laptops?
    Inspiron 1000 (OLD AS HELL)
    Inspiron 1545 and
    Inspiron 15

    All run fine. Don't overheat. Aren't 'slow', have never broke and were all under £450.
    Imho, Dell are one of the best you can get.
