i had a 8mm in, biggest i'd have gone. but when i was on a fair ride at reading fest, it got ripped out and went all bloody then the next day it had scabbed shut - lovely, i know.

whoever it was who mentions 'bars', if you ment scaffolds then i got one. they're amaaaazing.

the only issue i have with snake bites, is feeling it inside my mouth... im one of them people that stuff has to be straight, exact, perfect, or it's like URGH... and somethin like that in my mouth will really drive me crazy lol.

I like them, no matter what the size, but it annoys me that everyone is getting them now and thinking they're original.

Amen to that. Literally everyone. I personally don't mind them aslong as they're not too big! Definitely not for me though, haha.

i really don't think they're that great unless you're that sort of guy (maybe girl but that's worse imo) i wouldn't go bigger than 2mm haha it just looks weird and you can't take it out and forget you have it like piercing.

actually, you can just take it out and it be gone - might take a little longer but anything under 14/16mm closes up back to normal.

You can't feel the back of the bar in your mouth, and if you can it means you've got the wrong size bar and it needs to be tighter.
On topic, I really wish there wasn't a stretch ear thread every other week, so so boring

I have mine stretched to a 4mm atm, started around a month ago have been rushing cos im bored lololol, but wanna go to a ten they look hot

The big ones really suit a certain style. Other then that I'd have to agree with everyone that 2mm are a good size for anyone who wants them. Or you can save yourself the trouble and get fake ones haha.

Just saying that they are expensive and you gotta take good care of them or they'll get infected. I started at 14g, which is the size of a belly button piercing, and now I'm at 0g which is 8mm.

Don't skip sizes either, you might think it's not that big of a jump but when you get to bigger sizes it is. I had 2gs in and went to 0gs which around a 3mm jump. Whenever I would go to the store where I get mine, I would always ask whoever was there how big the next size was etc.

Obviously some people don't like them, like my parents, but it's a matter of opinion. Everyone likes different things. :-) Anyways yeah.
