If that was aimed at me, I wasn't calling it the "Next Vista", I was just saying I hoped that it wouldnt be a repeat of Vista.

If they skipped that out and went on to windows 7 from XP...

Personally I don't mind Vista so much, just in comparison to XP and 7, it puts it down.

I wouldn't wish for another vista in order for windows to advance in the same way I wouldn't wish for a mass extinction in order for species to evolve .

Aye, but it needn't have been if they'd had it tested more, it tarnished the name a bit, when most people think Vista, they would think flawed due to its incompatability with a fair bunch of windows xp programs.

Every second Windows OS is crap, vista was and Windows 8 will be.
