I work in the same place Matt does, in Morrisons.

As he said teams are really split up into departments such as frozen, fresh, grocery, produce etc etc. I'm not familiar with Matt's Morrison's as they're all going to be different but with the same principles enforced. Within my department (grocery) each member of the team is split into different isles. Most of the time just one person is left to work just one isle, but sometimes there can be multiple people working one isle.

We have a department manager, assistant department managers and supervisors, as well as normal sales assistants. The supervisors and higher staff usually walk around dealing with the managers above them and occasionally help you with your work and problems. Other staff can also work your stock, help you face up (make the isle look great, pull items forward etc) and bail cardboard, stack trolleys or pull pallets out for you.

    Hope this helped!

I work in a hotel as a bar manager.

Team work is vital for us otherwise we are there untill silly o'clock in the morning. Everyone needs to be pulling their weight if people aren't then they don't last long under my managment and I fire them.

I work at the airport, making sure people don't block the entrance. Geeze, you wouldn't believe how many people I have to kick out the door!

I'm a white water raft guide along the Colorado river, no team work at all, really.
I lead the boat, I'm the only one in control of the oars, and I basically have to explain what people are seeing around them, so it's just me, I don't even see anyone who I work with all day.
Sometimes I'll meet up with another boat for lunch/dinner, which is nice because I'm in charge of cooking every thing and it's a pain in the ass to do yourself, but yeah, not a whole lot of team work. I like it, working alone's lush.
