where do u guys live
I live in South Yorkshire, England
Oh okay I live in Canada we dont gotta wear uniforms prpetty cool. Only in private schools u do I think.
Most Secondary School's in the UK have to..
In a way, I think it's better if uniform is compulsary (sp?) because then everyone looks the same.. and someone wont come to school in designer clothes and the other come to school in some old not-so-good ones and get laughed at and stuff.
People at my school dont get laughed at most people dont wear scruby clotehs
I dunno how much mine cost but not that much I don't think and we don't wear blazers!
I found out that my blazer cost £22.99!!
I truthfully think school uniforms getting more expensive each year. I mean my uniform hasn't changed ever since I started school cause my primary has the exact same but here we go. Polo shirts - £3 (Buy 5) Trousers - £15 (5 pairs as I have long legs) Shoes - £35 - £40 (My feet are too big >.<) Cardigans - £10 - £15 (3 of them) Black Jacket - £35 (Just a winter one a summer one costs £15 :rolleyes
But if you think also, stationary (eg pencils, school bags) that adds up the cost too >.< Pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, pencil cases, PE bags, school bags can help add up a bundle.
On average every year I have spent at school I believe my Mum has spent over £100 and it was even worse when my sister was going to school too :s
Yeah.. I know what you mean.. Mine cost around £108 this year.. and my brother (who is in year 11) is massive.. (No offense.. he's not fat... he's just tall and well built "/) and his uniform cost like £150.. And it's his last year to wear uniform "/ .. Waste of money if you ask me.
