They're always going to be worth buying, as more a permanent investment. In terms of buying to make a quick profit, I'd suggest no. Long term, they'll always rise, albeit to a point where it wouldn't be worthwhile to sell (unless you needed some quick cash), if you think about it.

You buy it for 100m, it doubles. You think of selling, but every other rare has also doubled. Theres also a chance your rare may triple.Selling it and spending the cash may be worthwhile, but you can guarantee if you hold on to that rare it will eventually triple. In a growing economy, at least (plus more players joining, not leaving).

Bit of a jumbled answer but its a pretty confusing point.

You'll always eventually make money with these rares; even if it goes down a bit to start with, the fact that no more will ever be released means that they just have to go up eventually!
