    What kind of details have you put in to get these monstrous prices haha are you a convicted car thief who's registered blind or something. I know it's gone up a lot recently but I paid around £1400 my first year so something's really not right there

    Car insurances has on average doubled in the past year for younger drivers so that 2k you were quoted would be closer to 4k.
    I got a quote of 3.5k on a 2005 Fifa Punto from LV

    That probably explains why my quotes are £7k+. Looks like I won't be driving any time soon!

    I have no idea about insurance and stuff, but I was told that Fiestas are great cars for a young driver. However I think they're a little more expensive. I dont even know why im posting LOL.

    Get a VOLKSWAGEN GOLF. They are pretty cheap, if you look right, they can be under £1000.

    LV Are suggested for young drivers.

    Insurance is ridiculous, for me anyway. I remember trying to get a quote for those boxes fitted in your car which track mileage, how you drive etc and that ended up at about £4,000...
