This is my favourite crap-at-DIY-dad moment (Hint: My Dad)
He was putting up a tall fence to keep the neighbours' cat out and after finishing, said "Ah, finally, I've got the fence up to keep that damned cat out." and leaned on it. It collapsed flat so he toppled over and the evil cat, who was waiting over the other side, just walked right over it and into our garden again!
