yep its a shame really, he is our best player so now Wenger really does need to splash out... If he doesn't or we don't get Champs League next year, he'll be gone i reckon.

He always goes on about 'building the team for the future' - but he hasn't even done that really. Look at Barcelona - they reckon their U19 team is even better than their current team. THAT is building a squad for the future.
