Little punctuation is allowed in domains, let alone TLDs afaik?

Will be interesting if the beeb do or not, Having worked/been with the BBC for a week or so they are very conscious about the whole license fee argument and wasting it. I can see that the argument here will be the current system used by the BBC is fine and that 114k is a waste of the license fee to do this.
Hey i could be totally wrong and they will go for it but as i look at it 114k is new .bbc domain that does nothing more or save 3 local BBC Radio Jocks or 1 or 2 (depending who they are) National Jocks
This was announced in like 2006. Nothing came of it.
Chippiewill.
I doubt it will take off as much as people think. It would only really work with massive industry's and types of sites, for example .wiki
