    For us it works out, we get tv + broadband + phone for about 100 a month, when we were originally paying 150+ a month

    You shouldn't need one, Cat5e ethernet cable is unofficially capable of 1Gb/s.

    CAT6 Cables are capable of higher speeds, but really what's wrong with up to 1GB/s.

    If you cant get the speeds using a CAT5E cable, I doubt you will get the speeds on a CAT6 cable.
