I don't have enough money at the moment, well I do, but with all respect, a brand new site doesent need vB, and I have better things to spend that much amount of money on
Though... I do plan on getting vBulletin eventually, but not right now

Yeah, but you know, vb is more user-friendly, and you can directly add add-ons to it, unlike mybb, where you have to go to the cp itself

sounds even more familiar to previous sites like habboards.co.uk aswell, which also closed, i used the name as its perfect for a site which will be based mostly around a forum.

Like you said, old fansite? So what if it sounds familliar it clearly isn't anying like your fansite give the guy a chance. If his website is forum based (oh wait, it is) he may aswell pick a forum based name.
