It's a little hypocritical having people make some points above. If your Grandma wanted to buy you 60 credits, that's allowed. I will admit credits arent value for money, but that's my opinion.

I'm sorry to here about you being scammed, sadly the habbo community is overrun by scammer's. Gamberling always fails even if they pay out, providing you keep playing.

There are plenty of ways to make credits on habbo, from trading, game room's are fun and you sometimes get a guy doing grand prizes to beat their maze etc (I payed out 2gb a go, if you could beat my Saw Maze) Last man Standing - Pays out 3gb but time consuming!
