The prizes have more than doubled..
Vinnie is 'struggling to pay bills'..
Yet he 'gives away about ten thrones a day'..
'Unknown closing date' for ages, now apparently the 4th of July.

I just don't get it.

The whole 'closing date unknown' thing is why it was closed not because of the discussion that occured in there. You're saying the 4th of July now but it's too late now isn't it and for all the moderators knew, it could have been Christmas Day... 2013 so for that reason, it was right it was closed. Had you have said 'sorry, extending the deadline, it's now 4th July', there'd have been no problems whatsoever. Why you had to keep that a secret, I have no idea.
