    I can recommend Faststone Capture - its a brilliant little screenshot/video software and works a treat. I use it for work and play.

    Could it be there's not enough processing power to share? Have you tried modifying your minecraft settings and put everything on the lowest?

    I've just turned smooth lighting off! That made all the difference thanks! Ill be uploading my first vid tonight, Ill keep you posted

    I use Camtasia a lot. It is great for recording the screen and it doesn't pick up sound which tends to get annoying in videos. It's quite good quality and can export in different forms. Nice transition effects etc too
