I wouldn't worry too much about Thirteen, it's only good the once. It doesn't compare at all to the big four (Nemesis, Oblivion, Rita and Air)

My favourite ride is probably Air and I advice you to go on that, it seems terrifying but its really not - especially once you go round the first time. Thirteen is over-rated in my opinion, I went on it not long after it was first released, gotta say it was pretty disappointing, I expected someone much better because of all the hype, but meh that might of been because I saw loads of Youtube videos of the ride and I knew what was going to happen and the thrill of Thirteen is not knowing what's gonna happen.

But if you're quite worried about rides, what I usually do is Youtube a few rides and see which one's you definitely won't go on and which one's you will.

I've been on them all a few times, amazing - just take the plunge and go on them, thats what I did a few years ago and now I love them.

Be sure to go on Hex for the weirdness factor.
