What does this sound like?

Getting it hooked up to an Autodiagnos or something tomorrow. Engine management light and emission warning light have both gone off now though.

shoulda ragged some injector cleaner thru ;D

Sounds like the wires behind the engine have chaffed. Towards the back of the engine there is a black metal "cover" type thing, think its the anti tamper cover for the ECU. This often chaffes the wires running near it causing the problems that you have.

Many people remove the metal cover as it doesnt make a difference anyway and try fix the damaged wires, worth a shot.
