    Yeah its possible although last time I did it I had a problem with feedback and stuff.

    Mute in top left hand corner. I used to use SAM3 but I couldn't be bothered to mute all the time so I went to SAM 2 - much better imo.

    The "mute" mutes your SAM, but not your mic - so you can still hear/talk on skype etc.

    On Sam 4 click config and "Mixer (record to pipeline)" should be selected, change it to "Encoders (record to pipeline, skip output)".
