The fact that I don't like most dubstep takes nothing away from it being entirely idiotic to claim that only certain people using a genre are actually a part of it. If Shania Twain brought out a rap record it would likely be terrible but it would still be rap, just like Lil Wayne's Rebirth album is essentially a rock album despite him being a rapper and the album being rubbish. The notion that there are limited seats in the "real" musicians of a genre meeting is pathetic and closed-minded, and it's similarly stupid to suggest that a bad track within a genre is not really part of it at all
