www.professor-oak.com is better actually. They pay insane prices. You have to login to see them, but a high-priced example:
Clefairy 5/102 Holo 1st Ed. Mint - Rare $37.50

They'd need to be in great if not perfect condition to really get a decent price, also it may be worth attempting to get entire sets for example every single 1st gen card including shinys, then you can sell them as a collector's set rather than as just a bunch of random cards
If minors had eBay & PayPal, ALOT.All in good condition, 42 shineys 3 cards that you get free when you buy the movie (Electabuzz, Mew Two & Dragonite, don't know if they're worth anything but it's worth knowing before you buy). Got the Original stage 3 pokémon from Pokémon red, Charizard, Blastoise & Venusaur, as well as Squirtle, Bulbasaur & Charmander.
That's it really, thoughts on how much I would get in pounds?
I'd suggest hanging onto them, if you keep them in good condition for a good ten years they may become collectables. I'm not 100% sure they will but if they do, your in the money!
