quote notification instead of PM?

yeah but going to look in your CP to see if you have been quoted is just as long as the current PM process

what i mean when i want a message at the top is that it notifies me when someone has quoted me, along with a link to that thread, and once i've clicked that link the message disappears

I don't think that'd work when you have been quoted more than once though. I think it'd be best if it linked to your userCP.

I personally don't think it harms users much I would only want notifications if we could turn those off too

And yeah I mean is (obviously lol). Also imo is just the fastest way of typing "in my opinion" or any other term along those lines
