Having looked at that laptop it seems good for the price, graphics aren't brilliant but if you want to just do web stuff or watch videos then it's all you need.

I've done the same thing as you! Except I only had my dell for a year. I loveeee my new HP and it's not the same one as the one you posted, but it's the same range (g6) so hopefully it'll be good!

Well, I've got some good comments about HP. One was, the girl had her HP laptop for 5 years without any problems, and then another had it 5 years and it's still as excellent as it was when he bought it. Although Dell, I'm not impressed one bit. I did get them to give me a complete repair to my laptop, would've cost quite some bit.. It was fine for two months, then went back to what it is.. Useless!

I've never had any issues with Dell at all. I currently have a Dell XPS 15 (Generation before the current line of XPS 15's) and it works perfectly but I haven't had to contact Dell customer support.
Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

my sister has a few issues with HP laptops, mainly with chargers and the power ports. but support have always been quite good to her. i had a dell laptop and computer and had nothing but grief. would definitely go HP over dell.

Never had any problems with Dell. Used their servers, their desktops and their laptops for the past 10 years at work and we've only had one or two laptops fail in that time and I always recommend them.

HP laptops used to be decent, unfortunately they went over to feeling cheap and nasty just like Toshiba did a while back.

    Also Lenovo ThinkPads are good.
