You do realise drivers are generally made by the first party hardware manufacturers such as Nvidia, Intel, Realtek and generally not actually by the laptop manufacturer...? You're making a mountain out of a mole hill with this whole "driver problems" thing.

Dell is kinda risky sometimes, considering the first (and last) Dell that I had encountered three power supply problems, three motherboard replacements and a disc drive failure.

That being said I went for an XPS series laptop and not many people get those, so build quality probably isn't as good as the inspirons.

All I would recommend is definitely don't buy from somewhere like COMET or PC World - WORST companies ever. Their aftersales is shocking, and half the time they sell crap but over priced products.

Knew not to buy from people like them, they sell to the imbeciles mainly, selling more excuses than products.

    I've purchased this http://www.novatech.co.uk/laptop/range/nspire2430-blackedition.html

Nice choice , I'm literally just about to buy the 2760 Black edition.

Tell me how it's like when you get it.

that 2760 is a beaut but just far to out of my price range haha, I was saying 400 pound max i've went 150 over!

I'll probably review it when I get it since there aren't many reviews on the products, if you custom build though the "3-4" day delivery takes 2 weeks LMFAO, 2 weeks extra just to put my 8gb ram in, fml.

I best not carry this one by the screen either!
