To everyone who is saying Jamie isn't active or doesn't deserve it... Just because you don't see him doesn't mean he isn't active. He is usually on in the early morning hours GMT, I've talked to him quiet often around 3am GMT or later. The seniors in HxHD are the group leader of generally only people in their time zone so that is a factor when deciding promotions also.

So before you start saying rude things like someone doesn't deserve a promotion maybe you should think about other factors besides the fact that 'you never see them'.

i've been on several times at early morning (up to 5am and 8am onward) and never seen him so unless hes active at those times i doubt it

and isn't the point of a group leader to be active when the staff in their group is, otherwise they can't exactly supervise/manage/lead their group if they're on at completely different times...

Well i'm all for giving people a chance so we shall see how things go. Tom may be GMT but he is up late and generally online (As am I) during the early hours of the morning! Really do think the current senior staff need reaccessed. There is something seriously wrong imo if they are not meeting the required amount of hours. How are you meant to access people when you yourself are not even there to see how people are getting on? Senior staff should be doing more hours than normal... not less.

in all honesty. i think if you needed a leader for an EST timezone and thats why you picked the guy then maybe rosy shoulda had her group back. i was there three months and everyone knows ive been up all night, and now i get up early. i NEVER see the guy. i don't think i had a conversation with him the whole time i was at hxhd.

i mean no disrespect to the guy, but i'm sure he himself was surprised when offered the role.

To be honest you guys are being quite rude. He joined HD the same time as me and has been doing a great job since then, me being his senior meant I have to watch him more than most staff so I would know if he was slacking or inactive or whatnot. If the reason really is 'Idon'tsee him' then that's kinda lame, I hardly ever see any of you and I see no complaining about me. Alright yeah I'm in a different timezone to him but really it's a patheticresponse. The fact I always see him on and talk to him on MSN pretty much everyday and everything really defeats the point of 'inactive'.If Charity and Rosy feel he was best suited to thepositionthen leave it be, he most likely was.
