I usually can't function the whole day that I'm hungover, I couldn't imagine driving.
ah okay doubting it a lot now...
I'm usually okay after drinking if I eat + drink a pint of water before I sleep I think I'll ring my friend and see what they say D:

I've done it numerous times (not trying to brag) but on my trip home it was Friday mornings, never a cop around especially since it was in the bush, not the city.

It is risky of course and I don't know what your license is like, but if you are allowed 0% BAC then I wouldn't risk it.

It takes ~ an hour for your body to process 1 unit of alcohol. Now, bare in mind, there are plenty of police around at this time of year and you can fail a breathalyser on just ONE unit, I wouldn't risk it even the morning after if I'm honest. A pint can vary from 1.7 - 2.5 units, you can see it'll add up very quickly.

... well saying that, I wouldn't ever risk drink driving, it's one of the most stupid things people do.

I've been in this situation many times, I have a rule to know when I'm ok to drive because sometimes I wake up and I'm still drunk. It's called the hangover rule. I get brutally hung-over, when I feel like **** I know I'm good to drive. Where I live the policy is "0 tolerance" - meaning cops smell booze, have any sort of trace of booze you lose your license for 2 days (weekend) and they tow your car if you blow over a .08 BAC you lose your license for a year, crash/cause an accident you lose your license for a minimum of 2.

It's simply not worth it for me.
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
