And I've never heard of a situation where somebody needs to find a help desk staff via the forum and EVEN IF THEY DID NEED TO their name would also be supplied

Just because you haven't heard of it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. It's not just for users on Habbo, it's easier for management as well. If we are going to change anything, it would be to make all departments have their Habbo name as their forum name but then I don't think the non-Habbo departments would be happy. We won't be changing it the other way round.

I didn't say you would work in a department that requires for you to be on Habbo... I said if you don't play Habbo and you're in a particular role, say DJ or News Reporter than they get to keep their names... So I don't see why it's different for anyone else regardless if you play Habbo or not... There's not a MASSIVE need for your Habbo name to be the same isn't that the whole reason why their is a Habbo name thing in the little info bit on every post?

I don't think any department should make it mandatory to have your habbo name as your forum name, it's very off putting. It would be as silly as Jess or Bethie saying 'here lads your dj names are going to be your habbo names from now on to make it easier for listeners to find you'. Fair enough something like that would make sense but I'm assuming it isn't a rule because it's not very fair on the djs, which is why it should be the same with the forum.

Oh and if it's a case of people not being able to find someone on the forum by their forum name you can get scripts on vb that allows you to search for thatspecificname

But it isn't a community department. Just because they are departments that involve habbo does not mean the staff need to have their names changed to their habbo names. Help desk staff do not need to be contacted nearly as often as the other staff if at all so it isn't needed like djs/events staff are really
