    oh my god i'm about to agree with misawa... but i find many silent films far more emotionally interesting than "talking pictures". like i mentioned before as a student of acting and theatre and performance you begin to understand how the spoken word can hinder an actors true ability, and also how it can aid a shoddy actor.

    the actors in silent movies have to physically be so much more and it fascinates me completely. but, perhaps that is because both misawa and i have an interest in acting/performance (though from completely opposite ends).

    never actually saw one but in drama we saw a trailer for The Artist. I think it came out in 2011. It looked alright.

    I've never seen a silent film, but in french last year we watched a french film without subtitles, so it might aswell have been silent :/ people seemed to like the artist, but i'm not sure i would've enjoyed it. Might have to watch it one day

    I've been scrawling it forever but it never makes sense to me at all...
