I've seen one of my friends updating her facebook saying her mom's gonna divorce with his dad in 2 weeks, it's really ridiculous.

I remember when my Nan died I didn't write a Facebook status about her but then again I didn't feel an overwhelming amount of grief as she wasn't suffering. I cried when I saw her in the chapel of rest, I cried at her funeral a little too but I was in the comfort of my family and not showing everyone on Facebook what was wrong. However, I do agree everyone to their own and sometimes it's ok for them to say rip or something, if a friend of mine hadn't posted something on Facebook then my dad might not have known that a relative/friend called 'Uncle Bob' had died.

I don't do it but I don't mind people who do. I don't agree with people doing 50 likes in 50 minutes if you want to stop cancer, it won't stop it so why not donate or something instead?

i think it's disgusting when people upload pictures of their dead or dying family members, or anyone for that matter. if it's a personal matter then it needs to stay personal and not splashed all over the internet. fair enough you might take pictures of yourself with someone if they're slowly dying but putting them on facebook and continuously sharing the link is disgusting.
