I went to McDonalds yesterday and although I didn't, one of my mates was ID'd because you can only get the monopoly boxes if you are 16 or over! Apparently it's classed as gambling, bloody ridiculous if you ask me!

the over 16 policy has always been in place, it's just very rarely actually put in force. if you won a big prize you'd have to get a parent to apply or something cause you couldn't claim.
