    i am currently reading "from the soil - the foundations of chinese society" (chinese name: xiangtu zhongguo) by fei xiaotong. it was first published in 1947 in china and translated into english in august 1992, 4 months before i was born

    it has a bit about mao in it was written at the beginning of his power

    Yours sounds interesting. I'm gonna look for this book in the library and hopefully, I'll find it.

    hmm i used to enjoy books like that a lot too. but my attention has been diverted to history etc.

    I've sorta read A Clockwork Orange, that should be older than me. Didn't understand it much. Also read lots of Roahl Dahl and Charles Dickens too!

    i think all of the books in primary school were older than me when i was reading them, haha.
    the latest one i've read that is older than me is of mice and men, it's a great book to study and read.

    I've read heaps, most of them are really good books once you get into them. Plus you have to read those types of books in English as the one I've got atm is 1985 but some of the classics are really good
