    would the price not decrease/increase because of the numbers of the caterpillars?

    If people think they are ugly, then when they can't buy it in the catalogue anymore, they still won't like it so it'll probably decrease, but if you hold your caterpillars and are lucky enough to find someone that needsa lot and is up to pay more for one then you can get more.. I once bought a golden nelly for 135c and got to sell it for 200c

    yeah this could work, but your never gonna make profit of you bought them in catalogue sell a few now and keep the rest, see what happens.

    But ye cameron since they still in catelogue it would make sence to wait for them to be non tradable since for now u'll probably be selling -10 to -30 under the current price as a rough guess from me but might not be the case, since i'm not great with ltd's. @Jurv;

    Unfortunately the majority of limited edition rares have decreased in value drastically. In the future I recommend a tentative attitude when buying one. Caterpillars and Throbbing Fountains I have seen sold at half the catalogue price.
